Description: Feeling that guilt from indulging a bit too much mashed potatoes and stuffing during Thanksgiving? 🦃 No worries, we've got you covered with a post-holiday run at Mile Square Park to burn off the calories of gravy and that extra slice of pie 🥧.
We welcome runners of all kinds! Whether you're looking to get a new PR for a mile or even just a light jog to get some cardio in... bring a friend and let's get moving 🏃🏻♂️
Afterwards, we'll get a delicious brunch nearby to reward ourselves.
We will start by meeting at the Fountain Valley Senior Rec Center (16400 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708) and start running around 9:15.
Parking is $5 on Saturdays, but plenty of free parking on the street and residential area.

Earlier this year there were more than 320 animals found their home and more than $45K was raised to support Irvine Animal Care Center. We have two great panelists, including ACEL founder Jason Wong who will be in town all the way from Phoenix and ACEL SoCal board member Alex Yu.
We will be partnering with two students groups at UC-Irvine for this event. In addition to networking with other professionals, you’ll be able to help students test out their newfound networking knowledge at the event. Share your professional and networking experience with UCI students and learn from them what’s up and coming in the world (maybe they’ll teach us how to use Snapchat to network?).
It’s also ACEL SoCal’s one year anniversary ACEL's first professional expansion chapter! And after the networking discussion, we'll get a chance to use our newfound skills in some networking!

TAP-LA is looking for 15 kind-hearted and passionate members to help reduce hunger in Los Angeles. In an effort to battle the growing hunger and homelessness epidemic in Los Angeles, we will be teaming up with Tzu Chi USA and the Los Angeles Food Bank to volunteer in distributing food to hundreds of low and no income families.
As volunteers, we will be helping to assemble and distribute food packages, consisting of food items like fruit, vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items. Let's meet at 8:45AM at the front entrance and go out for lunch after.

Description: 洛杉磯華僑文教服務中心與大洛杉磯台灣會館共同策劃舉辦的台灣藝術系列講座，將於8月31日(星期五) 揭開序幕，活動於上午11時在洛杉磯華僑文教服務中心大廳(地址：9443 Telstar Ave.El Monte, CA 91731)舉行，首場「台灣‧藝象」講座以台灣音樂為主題，由知名音樂家呂信也老師擔任監製及總策畫，邀請主講人郭曉玗小姐、余忠村博士、女高音吳麗華老師及王婉兒老師共同演出。

Description: Are you all ready for the next hiking event? Well, come on out on April 29th and join us on Red Rock Canyon! Grab your hydration pack, sunscreen, hat, and best hiking shoes, because we’re hitting up the Red Rock Canyon! After a two mile hike, we’ll get to see red rock canyons similar to those in Arizona. Four miles round trip, slightly longer than our previous hike to the Top of the World. The hike is relatively straight forward, but there are small trails that can be explored. We’ll be meeting approximately 15-20 minutes before the start of the hike.

Description: As we all know, new laws (both state and federal) are in effect starting this year and many members of the community might be confused on the specific details and how their lives may be impacted. TAP-SD invites you to learn about how these laws may affect you and the outlook on any further legislation additions/changes in this FREE professional event limited to 25 attendees only!
